After 32 years as the owner of Lisa James Otto Country Properties, a boutique real estate firm with offices in New Hope, Pennsylvania and Stockton, New Jersey, Lisa James Otto has decided to retire her business. Otto is pleased to announce that she will continue her love of real estate as an agent at the luxury firm of Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty. Otto is grateful for her many successful and fulfilling years as a business owner and would like to thank her clients, agents, family and friends for all of their business and support throughout the years.

Otto’s passion for real estate began at a young age. After obtaining a degree in German and French at Boston University and University of Vienna in Austria and working at Hermes in Paris, Otto returned to her native Bucks County to work in her mother and her father’s real estate firms. Her mother, Elizabeth James, was known for her advertising acumen, fine intellect and tremendous sense of humor and was also a brilliant negotiator. Her father, Wynne James Jr., a second generation real estate broker, was known for his wit, keen negotiating skills and kindness.

In 1986, Otto created her own real estate company. Her client portfolio quickly spread from a loyal following of young investment bankers to models, actors and film producers who wanted to find a quiet country place. Otto joined the New York Council of FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation based in Paris, of which she was president for three years. She was also an active member of Leading Estates of the World and Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate for many years. Otto speaks English, French and German. She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. To speak with Otto, contact her at 215-262-3003 or at lisaotto@kurfiss.com.
