With the victory, the Falcons earned their fourth straight GMC boys’ basketball crown and their ninth in 10 years.

They earned this latest title with balanced scoring and tough defense. Four Saint Joseph players, Luke Fresco (14 points), Tyree Ford (13), Matt Cruz (10) and K-Shawn Schulters (10), scored in double figures against Piscataway.

The Falcons also limited Piscataway to nine fourth-quarter points.

Saint Joseph is not done yet, either. The Falcons are the No. 8 seed in the NJSIAA Non-Public A South Tournament. They were slated to play as the host to ninth-seeded Saint John Vianney High School on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
