Mayor Report

Mayor James Taylor announced at the March 11 Township Committee meeting that the monthly mayor salary donation of $100 will go to the Cranbury Lions Club. The mayor continues his pledge to donate his month mayor salary to local community organizations in town.

Township Committee

The Township Committee announced two proclamations at the March 11 meeting. The month of March is both Youth Art Month and American Red Cross Month in the township.

A reminder for residents the March 25 Township Committee meeting has been cancelled.

Cranbury Historical and Preservation Society

For residents the Walking Tours of Historic Cranbury will continue with a walking tour on  March 24. The tour will begin at 2 p.m. at the Cranbury Museum, on 4 Park Place E. The tour will cover the history and architecture of Cranbury. If people are interested they should contact Richard Moody at 609-819-1359.

The Cranbury Public Library

On March 16, the Cranbury Library will have a program for residents that will help people learn how to use voice control assistants like Alexa and Google Home. The program is organized by the library and will also help attendees set up their social media and the privacy controls.

Representatives from CISCO will also be giving a small presentation. There will be a chance to win an Alexa Dot in a raffle as well. It takes place on 23 N Main St, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. It is open to the public. Fore more information, contact the Cranbury Public Library at 609-655-0555.
