Aliperti was approved with a unanimous vote at the June 10 Hillsborough Board of Education meeting.

Since 2015, Aliperti has served as assistant principal of Ethel McKnight Elementary School, a kindergarten through 2nd grade school in the East Windsor School District. He began his career in education at Branchburg Township School District as a third-grade teacher.

During the 2008-09 school year, Aliperti was honored with the district’s teacher of the year award. In addition, he served as Branchburg’s District Testing Coordinator during the 2013-14 school year. Aliperti has also worked as a special education early intervention specialist with the Matheny Medical and Educational Center.

Aliperti received his bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kean University, holds a master’s degree in Special Education from Centenary College, and a master’s in Administration and Leadership from Georgian Court University.

With over 20 years of experience in the classroom and as an administrator, Alperti said his goal has always been to ensure that all students receive a high-quality education.

“I believe all children can learn and be successful,” Aliperti said. “I will be devoted and dedicated to the students, families and staff of Triangle Elementary School as we work collaboratively to instill a love of learning in our children and enrich young lives.”

Upon approval from the board of education members to appoint Alperti to his new position, Superintendent of Schools Jorden Schiff expressed his greetings to the elementary school’s newest staff member.

“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Aliperti to Hillsborough,” Schiff said. “His extensive background in elementary education and commitment to cultivating a collaborative and supportive learning environment for students and staff will serve the Triangle School community well.”
