Freehold Art Gallery opens exhibit featuring works of Easton Davy

FREEHOLD – The Freehold Art Gallery’s next exhibit, which will open with a reception from 4-7 p.m. Aug. 10 and run through Sept. 15, features the works of Easton Davy in “Jazz Art.”

According to a press release, Davy is an internationally recognized artist currently represented in the Netherlands and Philadelphia. Recent projects include album covers for Blue Note Records and custom artwork for performance artist and singer FKA Twigs.

Davy has recently appeared on Dutch television discussing the importance of jazz and blues art in African American heritage, according to the press release.

The Freehold Art Gallery, 7 W. Main St. (second floor, above CVS), Freehold Borough, is open Thursday and Friday evenings prior to Downtown Freehold’s musical events; from noon to 2 p.m. during the Friday Farmers’ Market; from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday; and by appointment.
