POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 1/29/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016. 
Francisco Rodriguez, 20 of Elizabeth, N.J., was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, and Daisy Sinchi, 20, also of Elizabeth, N.J., was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 16 in Eta Parrk.
An officer located a vehicle parked in Etra Park after hours. Further investigation revealed that the driver and passenger were in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both were arrested and later released pending court action. 
Jose Alvarez-Gonzalez, 45, of Freehold, N.J., was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and maintenance of lamps after being stopped at 10:22 p.m. Jan. 16 on Route 133.
An officer was on patrol on Route 133 and observed a vehicle with an inoperable brake lamp and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed that the driver was also in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Alvarez-Gonzalez was arrested and later released pending court action. 
Jonathan E. Murillo, 19, of East Windsor, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:49 p.m. Jan. 16 at Princeton Arms East.
An officer was on foot in the area of Princeton Arms East and encountered an individual who smelled like burnt marijuana. Further investigation revealed that the individual was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Murillo was arrested and later released pending court action. 
Officers responded to Avon Drive for a report of a burglary and theft from an automobile at 12:27 p.m. Jan. 17. The victim reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a grey purse, metal basket and $10 cash totaling a $70 loss. 
Krystal L. Cole, 36, of Brick, N.J., was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:30 .m. on Jan. 18 on Milford Road.
An officer was on patrol in the area of Milford Road when he conducted a license plate check of a vehicle and learned the driver had an active warrant from Freehold Township. The driver was also found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Ms. Cole was arrested and transferred to the Freehold Township Police Department on their warrant. 
Officers responded to Avon Drive for a report of a burglary and theft from an automobile at 8:27 p.m. Jan. 18. The victim reported that someone entered her unlocked vehicle and stole her tan coach wallet worth $300. 
Officers responded to the B building at Hampton Arms for the report of a burglary and theft at 10 p.m. Jan. 19. The victim reported that someone forced entry into his locked apartment and stole his iPad, laptop and $20 cash totaling a $420 loss.
