POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 4/15/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, April 6, 2016. 
Kyle E. Wines, 22 of Sayreville, N.J., was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain lamps after being stopped at 12:26 p.m. on Route 571.
An officer was on patrol on Route 571 near One Mile Road when he observed a vehicle with an inoperable brake lamp and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Wines was arrested and later released pending court action. 
Kaviraj Vadgama, 23, of Dayton, N.J. was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and speeding after being stopped at 12:57 p.m. on Route 130.
An officer was on patrol on Route 130 near Hankins Road when he observed a vehicle speeding and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The individual was arrested and later released pending court action. 
Officers responded to the 99 Cent Store in the Windsor Heights Shopping Center at 3:54 p.m. April 5 for individuals attempting to pass counterfeit money.
Upon arrival the officers located the accused individuals and recovered several counterfeit bills. One person provided false information to police and was also in possession of prescription drugs not prescribed. Three people were arrested for forgery and unrelated warrants from various jurisdictions.
Victoria P. Loftin, 27, of Trenton was charged with obstructing justice, hindering apprehension, implicating another, forgery, falsifying information, possession of less than four prescription pills nor prescribed and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was remanded to Mercer County Correctional center on $25,000 bail.
Anthony L. Owens, 29, of Trenton, was charged with forgery. He was turned over to Trenton City Police Department on $7,125 bail.
Zachary V. Waters, 33 of Lawrence, was charged with forgery. He was turned over to Camden County Police Department on $1,499 bail.
