POLICE BLOTTER for the week of 5/6/16

The East Windsor Township Police Department initiated the following police reports through Wednesday, April 27, 2016. 
Xavier D. Burgos, 22 of Monmouth Junction, N.J., and Jose Camacho-Leon, 26, of Dayton, N.J., were each charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 2:11 a.m. April 23 at Orchard Apartments.
An officer located a suspicious occupied vehicle parked in the Orchard Apartment complex. Further investigation revealed that the occupants were in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were arrested and later released pending court action. 
Darold R. Hayes, 33, of Lawrenceville, was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle, speeding and failure to wear a seatbelt after being stopped at 7:35 a.m. April 23 on Route 133 East.
An officer observed a vehicle speeding on Route 133 east and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Hayes was arrested and later released pending court action. 
Nana O. Prempeh, 42, of East Windsor, was charged with DUI, DUI in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, having an open container in a motor vehicle, failure to maintain a lane, making an improper right turn, delaying traffic and failure to wear seatbelt after being stopped at 7:20 p.m. April 23 on Yorkshire Drive.
An officer observed a vehicle operating in a reckless manner and conducted a motor vehicle stop on Yorkshire Drive. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr. Prempeh was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DUI. He was later released pending court action.
