Millstone Township buildings, parks closed to the public

MILLSTONE – Beginning today, March 19, all Millstone Township buildings and parks will be closed to the public during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

The closures include the municipal building, the municipal courthouse, Wagner Park, the Thomas Baird Homestead, the community center, the Clarksburg Cultural Center, Abate, Brandywine parks and Rocky Brook, according to a press release from the township.

Municipal court sessions have been suspended, but payments will be accepted in the drop box outside the courthouse on Millstone Road.

All permit applications and payments will be accepted via the drop box outside the front door of the municipal building on Stagecoach Road.

Construction and home inspection appointments may be considered on a case-by-case basis, according to the press release. Contact the Construction Department at 732-917-2953 for more information.

All tax payments, dog licenses and recreation fees will be accepted via mail or the drop box outside the municipal building.

The fire department, first aid squad and the Department of Public Works will be operating with enhanced procedures and the latest protocols, according to the press release.
