The buses will remain at each location for one hour. The locations include Southwood School; 7-Eleven by Route 35; Shepard School; Madison Park School; St. Lawrence Church on Laurence Parkway, and Gorniak and Westminster. The one-hour delivery stops run from 9:15-10:15 a.m. and the 15-minute stop runs from 10:15-10:30 a.m. at the Pick It Deli on Englishtown Road.

Residents are asked to retrieve meals at the locations nearest their homes while maintaining social distancing.

The district deploys the school buses with district staff and Sodexo employees take the food to those who need it. Sodexo provides the district’s food service.

The deliveries began on March 17 after schools closed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Remote, online learning is in place for the indefinite future.
