South River reports 36 cases of COVID-19

The South River Police Department has been notified by the Middlesex County Health Department that six additional borough residents have tested positive for COVID-19 as of April 7, bringing the total number of cases in South River to 36.

All of the new cases are isolating at home, according to a statement provided by the borough.

To date, officials have not been notified of any cases having fully recovered, according to the statement.
