Lightbridge Academy in East Brunswick will hold a community service initiative that will take place during their grand opening event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 24.
Director Regina Silverii is teaming up with The Zeppole Guys in an effort to salvage the local family business after a truck explosion earlier this month.
For every dollar spent at the event, Lightbridge will match up to $1,000. The organization is also donating a $1,000 grant to help the Spotswood-based business stay afloat.
While at the grand opening event, attendees can enjoy a pumpkin patch, music and dancing, family photos, games, raffles and prizes, refreshments and a tour of the center.
