Light at New Centre Road and Beekman Lane will became a four-way flashing stop

The flashing overhead red light at the four-way stop intersection of New Centre Road and Beekman Lane in Hillsborough will be removed.
It is being replaced with flashing stop signs at all four corners.
New Centre Road is a county road and this is an updated safety improvement being preferred by Somerset County, according to information provided by Hillsborough’s Engineering Department.
The county indicated this work should take place within 30-60 days.
