Join the Woodbridge Public Library virtually August 3 at 7PM as members of Clean Ocean Action explain what is “Pointless Pollution.” This presentation will introduce us to Clean Ocean Action’s mission as a nonprofit and a brief history of ocean pollution issues. They will discuss the issues facing our oceans today, diving deeper into nonpoint source pollution, or what we call “Pointless Pollution.” We will also get an overview of the issue of plastics. Clean Ocean Action will also provide us with some solutions and ways to help and get involved!

Registration is required. Please register here https://bit.ly/3od599l or call 732-634-4450.

Clean Ocean Action (COA) is a broad-based coalition of 125 active boating, business, community, conservation, diving, environmental, fishing, religious, service, student, surfing, and women’s groups.  These “Ocean Wavemakers” work to clean up and protect the waters of the New York Bight.  The groups came together in 1984 to investigate sources, effects, and solutions of ocean pollution.
