Carteret’s Latin Fest expected to draw thousands to Veterans Pier

CARTERET – Mayor Dan Reiman, along with the Carteret Business Partnership (CBP) and the Borough Council, announced the 2016 Latin Fest will be held at Veterans Pier & Waterfront Park, Carteret, on Saturday, July 23, 4 p.m. – 11 p.m

The 2016 festival will have performances by Victor Quezada, a Latin jazz band, and salsa bands Swing Combo and Son9. Christina Pierdra, a master instructor, will be performing and instructing Salsa dances.  In addition to the performances, the festival will have a DJ, crafters, food vendors, a beer/sangria garden and fireworks display.

“Carteret’s Latin Fest draws thousands of spectators from Carteret and the surrounding communities,” said Reiman.  “This event’s popularity is a testament to the multi-cultural community that Carteret is.”

Schedule of Performances – Latin Fest 2016

Victor Quezada – 4:15-5:00 p.m.
Zumba Performance – 5:00-5:30 p.m.
Victor Quezada – 5:45-6:30 p.m.
Salsa Dancing – 6:30-7:00 p.m.
Swing Combo – 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Fireworks Display – 9:00-9:15 p.m.
Son9 – 9:15-11:00 p.m.
