A Ewing Township man was charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a call about a shoplifting in progress at Buy Rite Liquors in Pennington Feb. 20. The man allegedly had two bottles of tequila in his possession plus drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released.

A Point Pleasant man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $300 from the Point Pleasant Beach Municipal Court following a motor vehicle stop Feb. 17. He was processed and released.

A Philadelphia driver was charged with obstruction of the administration of law, disorderly conduct and several motor vehicle summonses following a motor vehicle stop Feb. 17. The driver was processed and released.

A Ewing Township man was charged with driving under the influence and several motor vehicle violations following a car crash on Pennington Road Feb. 17. He was processed and released.

A victim reported contacting what he believed was a legitimate phone number for Apple regarding unauthorized activity on his account. During the call, the victim provided personal information and was asked by the suspect to buy a $500 gift card. Ultimately the victim did not suffer a financial loss. The incident of identity theft was reported Feb. 15.
