Montgomery police looking for ‘hit-and-run’ driver who hit woman crossing Route 206

Montgomery Township police are seeking the driver of a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash that injured a pedestrian as she was crossing Route 206 near Starbucks shortly before 8 p.m. March 6.

The 20-year-old woman, who lives in the Skillman section of Montgomery Township, was crossing Route 206 mid-block from the northbound side to the southbound side when she was struck by a passing vehicle, police said. Starbucks is on the southbound side.

The vehicle continued south on Route 206 without stopping, police said.

The woman was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick for treatment of her injuries.
