Navesink Garden Club to hold flower show in Red Bank

RED BANK — The Navesink Garden Club is staging the small standard flower show, “Going Platinum,” from 1-3 p.m. Sept. 13 at The Atrium, 40 Riverside Ave. The flower show is open to the general public and free of charge.

The Navesink Garden Club has held a horticulture show every year since its inception in 1947. Members enter and display the best examples of fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers grown in their gardens over the summer.

Entries will be accepted from 9:30-10:15 a.m., with judging to begin at 10:30 a.m.

The Navesink Garden Club invites people interested in horticulture and design to join the club. Meetings are held from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at The Atrium. For more information, contact Membership Chair Kathy Pojawa at 732-772-0488 or visit www.navesinkgardenclub.org.
