On Saturday, January 4, the Bordentown Township Committee held its 2025 Reorganization Meeting at 11:00 AM in the Municipal Building Courtroom at 1 Municipal Drive.
This meeting happens every year, and it’s where local leaders make decisions to prepare for the year ahead.
During the meeting, the five Committee members—Mayor Eugene Fuzy, Deputy Mayor Aneka Miller, Committeeman Bill Grayson, Committeeman Eric Holliday, and Committeewoman Kelly Lozito—were officially sworn into their roles.
They also voted to choose the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for 2025 and assigned each member different responsibilities to oversee important parts of the township’s operations.
Earlier that morning, Bordentown City hosted its yearly free rabies vaccination clinic for pets.
The clinic took place at the Carslake Community Center, located at 207 Crosswicks Street, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
It provided free rabies shots for dogs and cats, helping local residents keep their pets healthy and up to date on vaccinations.
For anyone who couldn’t make it to the city’s clinic, Bordentown Township announced it would hold its own free rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, January 11.
The clinic will be at the Northern Community Park building and run from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
Like the city’s event, the clinic will also offer free rabies shots for pets and is open to all New Jersey residents, not just those living in Bordentown.
Residents who missed the January 4 clinic can still get their pets vaccinated at the Township clinic on January 11.
