Police said that at about 12:45 p.m. Sept. 30, an unshaven white male entered Sun National Bank on Route 9 south between Taylors Mills Road and Symmes Drive.

According to police, the man indicated to bank personnel that he was in possession of a bomb and demanded and received money from a teller. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Police said it is unknown if the man was actually in possession of any type of explosive device or weapons.

The man is described as being between about 50 and 60 years of age, standing about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighting about 185 pounds. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a black knit hat and sunglasses.
