The Metuchen Arts Council will sponsor the Schoolhouse Songwriters Series, an evening of live, acoustic music, which includes cafe-style seating and refreshments, at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 5, at The Old Franklin Schoolhouse, 491 Middlesex Ave., Metuchen.
It will be the 10th installment of the quarterly music event, which is hosted by Metuchen based singer-songwriter Sharon Goldman. Admission is $10 for adults; $5 for children under 12.
