The winning numbers from the Dec. 8 drawing were: 08, 28, 29, 49 and 57. The Cash Ball was: 03.

The retailer that sold the second-tier prizewinning ticket is located at a rest stop along the New Jersey Turnpike at the Joyce Kilmer HMS, Mile Post 78.7 North, in Milltown, according to a statement provided by the New Jersey Lottery.

“Is the ticket holder a traveler passing through our lucky state or a resident participating in a day of travel?” Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery executive director, said in the statement. “When we meet the owner of the ticket with the winning numbers, we hope to find out the story.”
