The Asbury Park Music Foundation (APMF) announced today that the 3rd Annual “A Very Asbury Holiday Show” will take place at the Stone Pony on December 9, 2021 at 7PM.  Tickets are on sale online now for $27 and will also be available at the Stone Pony box office and the APMF table at the Asbury Fresh market  on Saturdays at Kennedy Park. Tickets may also be purchased at the door for $32 on the night of the show. Proceeds directly benefit APMF and it’s mission.

Previous year’s sellout shows raised thousands of dollars for APMF’s youth music programs, scholarships, and live music initiatives. In addition, the show will again be a drop-off location for unwrapped gifts for local families in need.

“It’s my privilege to support the Asbury Park Music Foundation, which uses music as the foundation for the future success of under-resourced youth,” said headliner Pat Roddy. “It’s an honor to be a part of this tradition.” Layonne Holmes, Brian Kirk, Patti Maloney, and Eddie Testa will all join Roddy on the bill. Other musicians and friends will be announced in the coming weeks.

APMF’s free Music Mondays summer concerts in Springwood Park, the Cookman Live series in the downtown business district, and AP Concert Band shows in Bradley Park are some of Asbury Park’s most popular and well-attended events, uniting the community and attracting visitors and residents from all over to town. They also invest in the future by offering life-changing music programs that provide under-served youth with confidence, discipline, and relationships that improve their future success and economic mobility.

As always, this show is made possible by the extraordinary generosity of sponsors and musicians alike who are dedicated to the betterment of their community through the power of music. APMF wishes to thank LOCALiQ/Asbury Park Press, The Coaster, MOGO Korean Fusion, Premselaar Foundation, and Rockrete Recycling Corporation  for their ongoing commitment to Asbury Park.
