The 7th Annual Corn, Tomato, and Beer Festival is a “Farm-to-Festival” celebration of local Jersey tomatoes, sweet corn, craft beer and so much more! This sweet summer festival brings local farmers, boutique restaurants, craft breweries, live bands, artisans, kids’ activities, food trucks, and vendors together to celebrate everything that makes Hunterdon County, NJ special. The event takes over the Arts and Cultural District along Stangl Road in the historic Flemington Borough.

On Saturday, August 10th from Noon until 8:00 pm the summer harvest meets the artisan district at Flemington’s Stangl Road, where the 7th Annual Corn, Tomato, and Beer Festival celebrates sweet Jersey tomatoes, heirloom corn, local craft beer, live music, and family activities from noon to 8 p.m.

Attended by thousands, the Corn, Tomato, and Beer Festival offers a wide variety of food and a focused homage to NJ’s beloved corn and tomato dishes as prepared by local restaurants, chefs, farmers, bakers, dessert-makers, and food trucks! The event features 9 local New Jersey craft breweries and 1 cidery, local wine from Old York in summery Sangria recipes, and seasonal “Jersey Country” Cocktails! Foodies and fun lovers will enjoy live bands, kids’ activities such as photos with fire trucks, crafts and face painting, vegetable stands, and artisan vendors.

At the festival, restaurants, specialty food stands, and food trucks offer farm-to-festival favorites and creative dishes featuring corn and tomatoes. Featured items include fire-roasted corn of many varieties, arepas, wood-fired pizza, corn salads, homemade empanadas, corn-bread donuts, Mexican street corn, corn fritters, pulled pork, quesadillas, heirloom tomato salad, fresh salsas, pasta dishes, tomato Pico de Gallo with shrimp tacos, lobster tacos, and lobster quesadilla, beer queso, stout cupcakes,  street corn style waffles, themed ice cream, and gourmet kettle and popcorn.

Festivalgoers can complement these choices with refreshing beer, kombucha, fruit smoothies, fresh lemon and limeade, and frozen cheesecake or bacon on a stick. There is enough space to find a shady spot to relax if you bring a chair or a blanket where you can enjoy stages with live music and DJs throughout the site.
