Join nature writer and photographer Jim Wright for a virtual talk and slide show called “The Birds in Our Backyards,” brought to you by the Woodbridge Public Library July 7 at 7PM. Jim will talk about his favorite avian neighbors — including the birds of summer, as well as year-round residents — and how to attract them. He’ll also offer some bird-feeding dos and don’ts, and explain why.

Registration is required. Please register here https://bit.ly/2TnA1rP or call 732-634-4450.

Jim is the author of several books on birds and nature, including “The Real James Bond” (a noted ornithologist and adventurer). Jim is celebrating his 12th year writing the popular “Bird Watcher” column for a few USA Today newspapers in northern New Jersey. He lives in Allendale, where he is a marsh warden at the 107-acre Celery Farm Natural Area.
