On Saturday, November 13 at 7:30pm, Boheme Opera NJ will bring a spectacular gala concert entitled Opera to Broadway to St. Magdalen de Pazzi Parish, 105 Mine Street in Flemington, NJ. With its live debut appearance for this arts-minded church community, Boheme Opera’s concert will star soprano Teresa Eickel, tenor Jeremy Brauner and baritone Daniel Sutin. The program will feature Opera arias from Carmen, The Barber of Seville, Tosca, Madama Butterfly, The Pearl Fishers and others, plus iconic musical theater songs from Carousel, South Pacific,

Oklahoma, Street Scene, A Touch of Venus and more.

  • Eickel enjoys an eclectic career as a leading role main stage opera artist, versatile actress and recital/concert performer. She is creator of her one-woman show, The Girl’s Guide to Dating & Opera, which is an irreverent look at the dating life of a single woman through the lens of beloved hits from Opera and Broadway.
  • Brauner was a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition Northeast Region in 2019 and most recently originated the role of Prince Hjalmar in the world premiere of Princess Maleine produced by Dell’Arte Opera Ensemble. He will sing the role of The Duke of Mantua in Boheme Opera NJ’s spring 2022 production of Verdi’s Rigoletto.
  • Sutin made his Metropolitan Opera debut in the 2001-2002 season as the Journalist in Lulu and has been a leading role opera artist throughout the United States and abroad. His European credits include performances at the opera houses of Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Darmstadt, Krefeld/ Mönchengladbach, Zurich, and Basel, and he is currently singing the role of Don Fernando in Fidelio with Polish National Opera.
