Chinmaya Bharat Utsav 2024 – August 9-11: Celebrating 10 Years of Chinmaya Vrindavan
Chinmaya Vrindavan is thrilled to announce its 10th anniversary celebration with a grand gala and a 3-day weekend of festivities from Friday, August 9th to Sunday, August 11th, 2024. This celebration honors Swami Chinmayananda’s legacy of spiritual teaching, community service, and devotion. For the past decade, we have proudly orchestrated numerous activities on our ashram premises, and we are excited to share this milestone with the community.
The Chinmaya Vrindavan Cranbury Tenth Anniversary celebrations will feature a wide variety of programs, including spiritual discourses, dance, and music. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy Indian vegetarian food from a variety of restaurants, shop for traditional Indian jewelry and clothing, and experience cultural programs presented by acclaimed dance and music schools.
Highlights of the event include:
- Inspirational Talks by Pujya Swami Shantananda ji: On the topic “Key to Success,” empowering individuals to explore their potential.
- Mallakhamb Demonstration by Mallakhamb Federation USA (MFU): MFU is proud to announce its participation in the Los Angeles Olympics 2028.
- Krishna Parijatham by Divya Yeluri and Group: A captivating dance drama performance.
Additionally, there will be a variety of impressive workshops conducted by experts in fields such as the art of action & focus, saatvik cooking, coding, robotics, SAT/ACT college prep, health camps, public speaking, financial & estate planning, inner healing, elder care, garland making, and more.
Saturday evening will conclude with the traditional, fun, and colorful Garba and Dandia dance, where everyone is welcome to join. A workshop will be available to teach basic steps for newcomers.
Children can enjoy games, arts & crafts, face painting, and other activities. Raffle prizes will be given out daily.
We are honored to have the Consul General of India in New York, the Honorable Binaya S Pradhan, and the Honorable Mayors of Cranbury, Plainsboro, and West Windsor Townships grace the occasion.
