Sarcasm Comedy, hosted by Steve Strevelise presents headliners Kevin Downey Jr and Eric Potts at the Brook Arts center on August 7, 2021, at 8pm..Comedian and Columnist Kevin Downey, Jr. has been labeled “refreshingly bizarre” by fellow comedians. The talented headliner and semifinalist of the AGT’13 can be heard regularly on The Bob and Tom Show and on Sirius/XM satellite radio. Downey has appeared on Comedy Central, What Not to Wear, and Queer Eye for the Straight and appears at the Comedy Stop Trop in Las Vegas. He has a nationally released DVD called, “I’m not Gay, but Don’t Stop”. Kevin is the author of a column titled Drinking on $11 a Night, which can be read in “Bachelor Pad Magazine” and “GC” magazine, and on-line at usedwigs.com. Kevin is also a proud member of Armed Forces Entertainment and travels the world to play for our servicemen and servicewomen.
Comedian Eric Potts, a retired NJ police detective, is hilarious as he takes his audience on a sarcastic journey through his otherwise mundane adventures in life. He spins his observations on everything from raising kids to getting older. Potts is going to make you laugh from beginning to end. Eric performs at casino and clubs across the country and has opened for Gilbert Gottfried, Bobby Collins, Jackie “The Jokerman” Martling, Julia Scotti, Joe Matarese, Jeff Pirami, Uncle Floyd, to name a few! Potts can be heard regularly on NJ 101.5.
