Hopewell glass artist Jarryd Pezzillo will conduct a live demonstration of his glass blowing technique for on day only, Saturday, December 12, from 11 am to 4 pm, at the 1867 Sanctuary in Ewing. The artist received a BFA in glass from Rochester Institute of Technology, and has worked in glassblowing at the Wheaton Arts Center in South Jersey.
The outdoor event will feature the creation, display and sale of tree and tabletop holiday decorations as well as other glass pieces. Attendees should wear masks, dress appropriately for the weather conditions, and plan to stay socially distant. Pieces of Jarryd’s work will be available to purchase, and a portion of the days proceeds will be donated to support the 1867 Sanctuary, an historic building preserved as an arts center.
