The goods we buy and the services we use matter. Our consumer behavior drives climate change. However, buying less does not necessarily imply a lower quality of life. Learn about the latest advances in sustainable consumption and how you can reduce your carbon footprint.

Sustainable Princeton, in partnership with the Princeton Public Library, is hosting this third of four programs in its 2019-20 Great Ideas series focused on practical, actionable and evidence-based steps to reduce the footprint of our daily lives. NRG Energy, Inc., sponsors the series.

The panel of experts will include Michael Chung, Sr., manager of Johnson & Johnson’s Product Stewardship; and Maurie Cohen, professor of Sustainable Studies, NJ Institute of Technology. The moderator will be Alexandra Bar-Cohen, vice president of Sustainable Princeton’s board of trustees.

Light refreshments will be served. All events are low-waste. Consider walking, biking or carpooling to the event.
