Share an hour of entertainment and fun, with professional storyteller and author Judy England-McCarthy! During this online zoom event on July 29 at 7:00PM the Woodbridge Public Library invites you to learn ways on how to better your own personal stories with family and friends. This evening program breaks down the basic elements of telling a good story, the history of storytelling, and shares some enjoyable tales with its listeners– all in the comfort of your own home! This is a summer event not to miss!

Judy England-McCarthy is a natural born storyteller beginning her professional career in 2009. She has also been a workshop facilitator since the late 1990s. As a member of several Storytelling Guilds and the National Storytelling Network, Judy can be found performing at various events including libraries, schools, and festivals throughout the Tri-State region. One of her original tales was performed at the National Storytelling Conference in 2013 and another online in 2020. As a self-published author of original stories since 2013, she will soon be self-publishing, “Twas Midnight,” a Halloween tale based on one of her poems. With a strong theatrical background her stories are filled with elements of humor and wisdom. Check out her website beginwithastory.com.
