The Back Road Ramble will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 10 am.
Screamin’ Hill Farm Brewery, located at 83 Emley’s Hill Road in Cream Ridge, NJ will host the fourth annual Back Road Ramble. The Ramble is a 0.05 kilometer, slightly uphill relay race-walk to trounce hunger. Teams consist of four walkers. Each competitor speed walks approximately 41 feet before passing the baton (a corn cob) to their teammate as they make their way, collectively, up the .05 kilometer course. A single-elimination bracket determines the winner.
Costumes and silliness are encouraged.
The Back Road Ramble will raise money for two of our favorite charities: Farmers Against Hunger and Grow A Row. Their mission is to reduce food insecurity, by ensuring access to fresh and healthy produce to as many families as possible.
