Life is filled with exciting learning opportunities and what a better time to explore them than while you are young? Young people all over the world opt to take time traveling, learning, and serving, whether it is during a post-high school gap year, summer break, or after college.
The Learning Cooperatives are hosting an online information-sharing session where we will be joined by four panelists who will talk about their adventures and pass along their resources.
Our panel includes a world traveler who volunteers in exchange for room and board, a self-directed learner who traveled with peers to temporary learning communities, an AmeriCorps member who dedicated a year working in inner city schools in Philadelphia, and a gap year counseling expert who helps young people navigate their gap time.
