Wakefern to Hold Hiring Fair May 12 at Corporate Offices
Largest retailer-owned cooperative to host job fair at two locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania
Edison, NJ (May 6, 2022) – Wakefern Food Corp., the nation’s largest retailer-owned cooperative with member companies that own and operate supermarkets under the ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Dearborn Market, Gourmet Garage and Fairway Market banners, is hosting a hiring fair on May 12, to fill a number of open positions.
Wakefern is seeking applicants for a variety of entry level positions including corporate procurement and customer care/service and logistics, selector and truck driver positions on warehouse teams. Each job offers opportunities for career growth and plays an integral part in the operation of the entire cooperative and its retail banners and stores.
Wakefern offers competitive wages and benefit packages including medical, dental and retirement benefits and annual increases. Truck driving positions also offer competitive hourly pay, the ability to return home daily, annual safe driving awards, and trucks with safety systems.
The hiring fairs will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 at Wakefern’s corporate office, 33 Northfield Ave., Edison, NJ, and at the Grocery West Distribution Center, 8301 Industrial Blvd., Breinigsville, PA. Grocery West is seeking applicants for warehouse selectors and logistic administrators. All interested candidates are invited to stop by either location to speak to an HR representative on the spot.
