Join us for some family fun at this hot air balloon festival, hosted by Warren Community College, located at 475 Route 57 in Washington NJ. Gates open at 3 pm each day with vendors, food trucks, and family entertainment.

Balloon activity at the festival includes the following activities and shows. Please note that balloon activity is weather permitting and times are tentative.

Tethered Rides 4:30 pm

Fred G. Monster special shape balloon Friday, 7:15pm, Sunday, 6:30 pm

Each day offers something unique. The event kicks off on Friday, with Family Fun Day. Discounted Family Pack Tickets are available for purchase online. Save up to 50% with a family admission pass of $25 good for up to 5 people in your car, and $5 parking. On Friday, Save $5 on Tethered Rides Normally $20 per adult and $15 per youth ages 4-12, rides will be $15 and $10 respectively. Try out your golf swing with DP Golf and PGA Golf Professional David Plarre . The SNAG® (Starting New At Golf) system is the easiest and most fun way to learn to play golf. Get your half price – $5 Bucket of Golf Balls – at the Balloon Ride tent. David has 22 years of experience teaching golf to all ages. He will take a few minutes to share his teaching skills with you or your child with the hope that it will generate and interest in the great game of golf.

Entertainment varies each day. Learn some circus tricks with juggler from Grins & Grins, or just be entertained by Phydeaux’s Flying Flea Circus. Watch some great local talent like Leah Marie Fuls, Jeff Bellfy Band and Na’Bodash. Other musical entertainment includes DJ shows by S.C.3 Entertainment, playing hits from every generation, Kudos Barber Shop Quartet.

On Saturday and Sunday, at 3:30 pm, our host, Warren Community College will hold drone demonstrations at the Drone Port on campus. Check out their vast selection of drones and learn about their ever-growing Drone program.

On Saturday and Sunday night, festival organizers are proud to present Balloomination, a balloon glow like no other. The show is synchronized to some old time favorite musical selections.

Sunday features the Hot Rides & Hot Air Balloons Car & Truck Show. Registration begins at 2 pm. Enter your car in the show as all makes and models are welcomed. $20 per car (free admission for all riders) / $15 pre-registration. Trophies for the Top 10, participant judged, and Best of Show, panel judged. Proceeds go to the future Fred T. Grotenhuis Veterans Community Center project.

Warren Community College has plenty of lawn to spread out and social distance. Pets, food and alcoholic beverages are prohibited (with the exception of snacks & beverages for small children). Feel free to bring blankets, lawn chairs, small games like quoits and corn hole. If you have never visited a hot air balloon festival before, typically balloon activity happens later in the evening, based on wind conditions and time of sunset.
