Movies at the MAC takes off with Airplane!, the first film in The MAC Classic Comedy Movie Series, celebrating the likes of Mel Brooks, Steve Martin, Monty Python and more. Middletown comedian Vinnie Brand, owner of The Stress Factory Comedy Club in New Brunswick, hosts what “surely” will be an evening of lots of laughs.

The spoof comedy takes shots at the slew of disaster movies that were released in the 70s. When the passengers and crew of a jet are incapacitated due to food poisoning, a rogue pilot with a drinking problem must cooperate with his ex-girlfriend turned stewardess to bring the plane to a safe landing. Starring Robert Hays, Julie Hagerty, Lloyd Bridges, Leslie Nielsen and Peter Graves.
