Barbara Shirley Fomalont, 80, Barbara Shirley Fomalont, 80, passed away Wednesday April 6, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Fomalont was a former resident of Cherry Hill and Princeton before moving to Cranbury. She attended Temple University and was a graduate of Glassboro State College and Trenton State College earning a Masters Degree in education. She was an elementary school teacher in East Windsor Township for twenty-five years before retiring. Mrs. Fomalont was a member of the Community Without Walls. Daughter of the late Samuel and Lena Narish and sister of the late Lorraine Zimmerman she is survived by her husband Dr. Robert Fomalont, and a large and loving family of children including Samuel and Sindey Dranoff, Suzanne Sabogal, Dianne and Peter Horowicz, Lisa and Michael Connors, Judith and Harvey Malove, Michael Fomalont, Joel Fomalont, and Susan and Thomas Sloan. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services are Sunday 11AM at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township. The family will observe Shiva on Sunday and Monday evenings with services beginning at 7PM, at the home of the deceased.
