Gabriella Rose Beals-Reid,13 With great sadness we share that thirteen year old Gabriella Rose Beals-Reid (Gabi) died unexpectedly on Monday, April 4, at Stony Brook University Hospital. Gabi joins her twin brother Timmy. Her death is mourned by parents Robert and Diana and siblings Colin, Olivia, Gemma and Matthew, as well as many relatives and friends. Gabi is remembered as an incredible light in the lives of those who love her. She was kind, loving, funny, and thoughtful and had a special way with younger children and animals. Gabi exhibited a quiet confidence and approached school, French Horn, art, and writing with both determination and creativity. Our grief is heavy but our love is stronger. We invite you to celebrate her life: a visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, from 6:00-9:00 P.M. at the St. James Funeral Home; 829 Middle Country Road, St. James, NY. The funeral will be held Saturday, April 16, at 2:00 P.M. at the St. James Episcopal Church, 490 North Country Road, St. James, NY. A reception will be held at the church following the funeral.
