Donald J. Mauer, Sr., 90 years

Donald J. Mauer, Sr., 90 years Donald J. Mauer, Sr., 90 years, of Hopewell Township, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 after a brief illness, at Compassionate Care Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital (Hamilton). Mr. Mauer , a son of the late Gladys (Wyckoff) and the late Raymond Mauer Sr., was born and raised in Trenton. Mr. Mauer was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He moved to Hopewell Township in 1966 where he lived the rest of his life. He was retired from NJDOT and was a Professional Land Surveyor. Predeceased by his wife, Eleanor (Pachuta) and his brothers Raymond and Wynn, and sisters Doris, Gladys, and Lorraine. Mr. Mauer is survived by his son Donald J. Mauer, Jr. (Debra); his daughter Susan Lynch (Peter); four grandchildren Elizabeth (Lynch) Lui (David), Katherine Lynch (Kevin Impellizeri), Brandon Mauer, and Carly Mauer; and one great grandson, John Lui. His twin brother Richard, his sister Alice, many nieces and nephews, and great friends Anthony and Minnie Arnone also survive him. A graveside ceremony for the committal of Mr. Mauer’s ashes will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11AM at Harbourton Cemetery, Harbourton NJ.
