Elinore Stout Gyopyos ,91

Elinore Stout Gyopyos ,91 Elinore Stout Gyopyos passed away peacefully at Acorn Glen Assisted Living in Princeton March 13. She was 91. Born in the Plainsboro home built by her father, she was daughter of predeceased parents, William and Elsie Stout. Also deceased were a brother William Stout and sister Catherine Martin. She is survived by sisters Jeanet Dey of Michigan, Della Nemes of Plainsboro and a brother George Stout of Florida. Elinore graduated Princeton High School in 1941 and went to Abington Memorial Hospital where she became an RN. She left with some friends for California and was employed at Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hosptital. She became a staff nurse in the O.R. and from 1958 through 1983, Elinore was the surgery Supervisor. She became Administrative Surgery Coordinator and after retirement, worked part time in Outpatient Surgery. Elinore was married to Nicholas Guyopyos and subsequently divorced. She loved to garden and won several prizes for the beautiful flowers in her backyard. She liked to travel and visited many countries. She volunteered at the Descanso Gardens Public Park Gift Shop and made many embroidered items to be sold there. She enjoyed going to estate sales. A service will be held May 7 at the First Presbyterian Church in Plainsboro at 11:00.
