Restaurant raises funds for volunteer fire company in Edison

Representatives from Quaker Steak & Lube restaurant presented a check for $2,788 to Raritan Engine Company No. 1 in Edison on May 21.

In honor of its Edison location’s second anniversary, the restaurant donated 10 percent of its anniversary day sales and 100 percent of the proceeds from raffle ticket sales to
the fire company, which is celebrating 100 years of dedicated volunteer service this year.
