The Applebee’s Phillies beat the Hogan Self-Storage Mets, 10-2. The Phillies’ Jake Loughery pitched well and scored 2 runs. Jake Croce had 2 RBIs and also pitched well for the Phils. Paul Myers and David Sigman scored the Mets runs. Dylan Eng stuck out the side in the only inning he pitched for the Mets.
— The Yankees beat the A’s, 6-4, in Saturday’s playoff game. For the A’s, Mike Boyer went 4-4 with 3 singles and an RBI double, while Armaan Singh went 3-4 with 3 singles. For the Yankees, Dominic Yarson stroked two singles and Bradley Shreve went 2-3 with an RBI and 2 singles.
— In Saturday’s playoff game, the Orioles defeated the Mets, 5-2. Billy O’Connor had a single in going 1-2, and Dylan Eng blasted 2 solo home-runs. For the Orioles, Tim Mckeon went 2-3 with 2 singles, while Mason Schall poked an RBI single.
— In Sunday’s game between the Orioles and the Phillies, the Orioles won, 7-4. For the Orioles, Tim Mckeon, Tommy Irvine and Brendan Myers all had two hits. Austin Martorana pitched struck out 3 for the Orioles. For the Phillies, Ryan Kuuskvere (2-3 with a double), Jake Loughery (2-2 with 2 singles) and Luke Kavolich (2-3 with 2 singles) all played well.
— The Orioles scored two runs in the first around a leadoff double by Nick Tagliareni in a 3-0 victory over the A’s. The Athletics struggled to get runners on base. The Orioles added a run in the second.

Here are recreation baseball results from the week in the Ewing-Hopewell Babe Ruth League:
— The Colavita Jewelers took the win against the Aztec Graphics, 11-8. The Jewelers started with three runs within the first two innings but the Graphics battled back to tie the game. In the third, Charlie Potter and Dakota Ditmars of Colavita Jewelers drove in runners with doubles. Aztec Graphics’ Carmen Zangrilli ignited a five-run rally in the fifth to tie the game, 8-8, before Colavita Jewelers pushed across three runs in the last two innings.
Potter went 3 for 4 with three doubles and six RBIs. Drew Brodine of Aztec Graphics went 2 for 2 with a double and four RBIs.
— Peddler’s Village romped over Ewing Kiwanis, 17-5. Daniel Amon made a diving catch at second base in the bottom of the second inning. In the top of the 4th, Peddler’s Village’s two-out rally scored 5 runs. Andrew Blake hit a triple.
— Aztec Graphics won against King’s Pizza, 8-5. Marc Porpora pitches 5 innings with 5 strikeouts. Drew Zaleczik pitched 2 innings with 1 strikeout. Anthony Yarson pitched 4 innings and fanned 7. Carmen Zangrilli went 3-3 with a triple, double and a single with 2 runs scored and a RBI.
