Summer library programs include knitting, meditation

The North Brunswick Public Library will be offering a variety of fun programs for adults this summer.

Painting with Yarn with Donna Como will be held from 10 a.m.-noon on July 23. Learn basic stitches along with design, texture and color.
Enjoy playing Nintendo Wii games including mini golf, ping pong and skill ball from 1-3 p.m. on July 29.
Paper Marbling with April Zay is set for noon-2 p.m. on Aug. 4.
Open knitting session with Pam MacKenzie will be held from 1-2:30 p.m. on Aug. 8. Bring your knitting project. Prior knitting experience is required.
A paper folding workshop with Donna Como will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Aug. 9.

Scrabble night is set for 7-8:30 p.m., Aug. 11. Games, score sheets and dictionaries are provided. All ability levels are welcome.

Mindfullness meditation sessions are planned for 7-8 p.m., Aug. 1, 8 and 15 with Dr. Siobhan Gibbons.
