Family of musicians will return to South Brunswick

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – A family of South Brunswick High School graduates will return to their alma mater as members of the West Chester University Band.
This Saturday, Oct. 1, the  high school will serve as the host to the USBands Marching Band tournament. Nineteen high school marching bands from New Jersey and New York are expected to attend.
Michael Moriarty is a former South Brunswick drum major and current two-year drum major for the West Chester University Golden Rams Marching Band. His sister Brienna is in her second year with the West Chester Color Guard after performing in the South Brunswick Color Guard. Their father Mike is the event coordinator working with USBands for this event.
South Brunswick is a three-time New Jersey State Champion in Group 6 Open Class.
