EAST WINDSOR: Friends of Hickory Corner Library plan fall book sale

Remember that bestseller you’ve been meaning to read or give as a gift? Now’s the time to get it. Pick up a copy of a book you enjoyed and share it with someone.
The Friends of the Hickory Corner Library, Inc., will have its fall book sale starting on Thursday, Nov. 17, at the library, 138 Hickory Corner Road, East Windsor, NJ.
The library will be open that day from 4 to 6 p.m, only for members of the Friends of the Hickory Corner Library. The general public is invited for the rest of the sale: Thurs., Nov. 17, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18 and 19, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m; and a special bag sale Sunday., Nov. 20, 1from 1 to 4 p.m. with all the books one can fit into a library bag fro $5.
Come browse through thousands of new and gently-used fiction and non-fiction, adult, young adult, and children’s books, as well as DVDs, CDs, AudioBooks, and videotapes.
All items are reasonably priced. Adult hardcover books are $1.50, paperbacks are 50¢ – $1. Young adult and children’s hardcover books are two for $1, and paperbacks are three for $1. There will also be some special books priced individually.
Proceeds are used to purchase new materials for the library and provide special programs for adults and children, including the Summer Reading Program.
The Hickory Corner Library is a branch of the Mercer County Library System.
