The Center for the Arts at Monmouth University has announced that tickets are on sale for a 8 p.m. on Feb. 24 performance by Sweet Honey in the Rock, scheduled as part of the Winter/Spring Performing Arts Series of events, at Pollak Theatre, Monmouth University, 400 Cedar Ave., West Long Branch.
Presented in observance of Black History Month, the concert represents the Grammy winning, all female a cappella group’s first visit to the recently renovated Pollak Theatre.
Tickets for the Feb. 24 appearance by Sweet Honey in the Rock are priced at $40 and $50, with a $60 Gold Circle option. Reservations are available through the Monmouth University Performing Arts Box Office at 732-263-6889, or online at www.monmouth.edu/arts.
