Following a month-long effort to benefit the Old Bridge Food Pantry, Reformed Church Home (RCH) presented a check for $2,038 to Old Bridge Mayor Owen Henry. During a celebratory reception also attended by Anahita Feltz, Food Bank assistant, the home donated several hundred pounds of nonperishable food for the organization’s use during the holiday season.
This year, RCH conducted the drive via several events, including a holiday craft sale, special breakfast and lunch offerings, a resident art sale, bake sale and T-shirt sale, all part of the global “Stop Hunger” initiative. The project was coordinated by RCH staff members Lynne Meehan, Dining Services director, and Marie Trezza, Development director.
