Grand Navratri Garba celebration to be held in South Brunswick

The Indo-American Cultural Foundation of Central Jersey (IACFNJ) will hold its Grand Navratri Garba celebration from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 12, 13, 19 and 20 at South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.

The Navratri celebration marks the festival of nine nights during which Hindus worship the goddesses of Shakti Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.

Once again, Mahesh Mehta and his artists from Bollywood, and local singers and musicians of Entertainment Unlimited, will perform famous old and new live singing of traditional garbas, dandiya, famous sanedo and bhangaras with live entertainment for more than five hours on all four days.
