Nicole Heligman, the daughter of Todd and Suzanne Heligman of Morganville, has been inducted into Order of Omega at the University of Tampa, Fla. Order of Omega recognizes the top 3 percent of fraternity and sorority members based on scholarship and leadership. Nicole is a junior Bachelor of Fine Arts graphic design major and is a 2016 graduate of Marlboro High School.

Lindsay Press of Colts Neck was one of 38 Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa., scholar-athletes who were recognized for their performance in the classroom and on the court, mat and track with their selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter 2018-19 season. To be named to the academic honor roll, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing and carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade point average. Lindsay is a sophomore and is a member of the Muhlenberg track and field team.

Carly Beckstrom of Colts Neck has been named to the dean’s list at Paul Smith’s College, Paul Smiths, N.Y., for the fall 2018 semester. Carly is majoring in environmental science.

Michael Somma of Colts Neck has received 2018-19 New England Small College Athletic Conference Winter All-Academic honors. Michael is a member of the track and field team at Bates College, Lewiston, Maine. He is the son of Sal Somma of New York and Anne Markey of Red Bank. Michael is a 2015 graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft. He is majoring in economics, and minoring in philosophy and mathematics. To be honored, a student-athlete must have reached sophomore academic standing and be a varsity letter winner with a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50.
