In Metuchen, for the owner of the average assessed house of $206,806, the tax rate for the 2019-20 school budget will increase $19 from last year and homeowners will pay $7,525, or 0.3% over last year. The increase was incorrectly stated as 3% in the May 15 issue of the Criterion Sentinel.
